Wednesday, August 26, is Women’s Equality Day in the United States. It is a time to celebrate the activists who secured all women’s rights to vote in the United States. This year is special because it marks the 100th anniversary of the 19th Amendment, which was the first federal legislation granting women the right to vote.
Here, in the Coastal Bend, a coalition of organizations dedicated to the advancement of women and girls have put together a virtual celebration, and we hope that you will join us!
